We bought a duel axel, caged, hot dipped galvanised, override braked, 8×5 trailer in Dec 2020 (8 months old at the time of this review).It drives straight and tows well. You won’t get hooked up with a quality trailer any faster than at this place. Trailer tows well, is solid, no rattles and I was done, registered and hooked up in 10 minutes. Make sure you’re to carefully and safely moving about.
You must still obtain a safety certificate before disposing of a registered vehicle, other than to a dealer. You may be fined over $700 for not having a current safety certificate when disposing of a vehicle. I’ve had two trailers built by Trailers Direct. It appears to be well built and came with extras which were add on’s with other brands I looked at.( eg spare wheel and jockey wheel). And importantly it was competitively priced. They had the trailer we wanted in stock and had all the paperwork for rego etc. ready when we arrived.
I highly recommend anyone in the market for a trailer to go and see the guys at Trailers Direct. It was important for us to buy Australian made, these guys make their own trailers, they are top quality and very well priced. They do sell the imports if that’s the way you want to go but please consider supporting Australian made.
