My name is Shahara Thaliph, and I am the Centre Manager at Milestones Early Learning Narre Warren North. With a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and more than a decade of experience in the childcare field, I bring extensive knowledge and expertise to our centre and community. Our offsite Chefs use high-quality, fresh ingredients and a broad range of flavours to create meals that meet and exceed the latest nutritional guidelines for children in care. The Kingfisher room’s curriculum is planned to assist children in their growth and development, by participating in group time focused on the current project and investigation, maths, literacy, Italian, STEM, drama and culture. The Kingfisher room children are given the opportunity to explore new ideas and concepts as well as prepare them for Kinder the following year. Our curriculum in the Island room is driven by a project and investigation approach to learning where the children’s ideas, interests, theories and voices are heard and explored.

A 14-year-old Cranbourne boy, a 16-year-old Dandenong boy and a 13-year-old Greater Dandenong boy were charged with car theft. He was bailed to appear at Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 30 April. A pair of 15-year-old Cranbourne East boys were charged with attempted armed robbery, robbery, burglary and aggravated burglary. We run programs around road safety and safety with dogs, and even run a fun Worm Wee project to teach children about sustainability. Teaching children about different cultures is also important to us, so we incorporate cultural celebrations into our program. We have a large outdoor space where children can discover, explore, climb, balance and play. Your child will be able to take part in nature-based experiences as well as activities that encourage social interaction and teamwork. They'll also learn about gardening and healthy eating by exploring our veggie garden and composting farm.
