Childcare and Kindergarten Centre

Childcare and Kindergarten Centre

This Council service may be affected by the recent severe storm event. First Early Learning in Pakenham is a fantastic location to the local and surrounding community for Early Childhood Education and childcare near pakenham Care. This centre, which is directly across the road from Pakenham Secondary College  and next to St Patrick's Primary School, provides convenient access from the Princes Highway and on-site parking.
This encourages children to develop a positive relationship with food from an early age. We nurture your child's social and emotional learning as well as their cognitive, creative and physical education skills. KingKids provides quality childcare,  making a positive difference in the lives of our communities. In our baby’s room, children up to 12 months of age are provided with formula at no additional cost. While we only keep one brand of formula within the centre, you can bring your baby’s preferred brand.

Ultimately, clear and consistent communication between parents and childcare staff is essential to ensuring that your child receives the highest quality of care possible. Unfortunately, due to you waiting  4 + months to contact us to discuss your concern, it has been particularly challenging to move forward. As mentioned in our previous communications with you, we would love to invite you into the Centre for a meeting to discuss your concerns, and gain a better understanding of why you were unhappy? The care given to our little learners from our beautiful and qualified Educators is outstanding and as can be seen from all our other reviews, our families are happy with our Educators and care. We do wish your family all the best for the future, and hope your little one continues to thrive in a new Early Learning Centre, that is better suited to your families needs. It has been an exciting adventure opening our Centre First, Pakenham in January 2021, and welcoming  all the current and new children, families and educators into our amazing Reggio Emilia Inspired service.
Plenty of natural light and great ventilation – our programs focus primarily on an indoor outdoor style of learning , where children are given more choice as to where they wish to learn. Our Centre comprises of 5 well-resourced and spacious learning environments, perfect for children to learn and grow. Our nursery children enjoy regular pram walks to a nearby waterway to see the ducks, offering a delightful and engaging outing. We also have a strong relationship with our local school in Cranbourne South, with our Kinder children making regular visits, fostering a sense of community and familiarity as they prepare for school. We teach children the importance of sustainability by participating in the local Reverse Art Program, maintaining a community clothing rack, composting, and managing a worm farm.
On any given day the Toddlers can be seen developing their numeracy by building a tower, sorting objects, pointing and identifying shapes and patterns and participating in counting songs and games. These experiences prepare them for the broader community and school environments. Following the Early Years Learning Framework, our programs are designed to stimulate cognitive development with engaging and challenging activities. This approach nurtures critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which are essential for lifelong learning. I began my early childhood career in 1990 while completing my Diploma of Community Services in Child Care.
Together, we strive  to create a centre where children are excited to learn, families feel supported and welcome, and educators are empowered to grow and thrive in their practice. I’m excited to build lasting partnerships with our families and community and to help give every child the best possible start in life. We aim to provide a welcoming and inclusive environment, from the moment you book a tour with us, through to enrolment and when your child starts care. We have an open-door policy and welcome your input and  feedback, as this is important to us and helps form collaborative relationships, between you and the community.
