We focus on building secure relationships between children and educators, closely following home routines, and supporting each child in meeting their developmental milestones. The government funding rates are currently set at £7.67 per hour for 3–4-year-olds and £10.87 per hour for Busy2s and Working Family 2-year-olds. These rates do not cover the true cost of delivering the high-quality care and education we provide. In particular, they do not cover food, additional hours, consumables, curriculum enrichment, or the wider services that families value at YEK, including highly qualified nursery teachers.
We pride ourselves on our commitment to the safeguarding of children and young people, providing safe and fun environments for children to flourish. We also get involved in fundraising activities for causes that are important to the community. We get to go up to the local primary school and have a few classes such as PE, Art and Music. Children have fun, get to know a primary school, and experience the different kinds of classes they will be involved in next year.
Latrobe Valley centre makes a huge impact for children, families, and the community. Please note that the above fees do not take into account any Child Care Subsidy that you would receive to decrease the cost of your childcare fees. Bayswater North sits just above the national NQS Rating & the average rating of centres is «Meeting NQS».

Children develop their social awareness and social skills – fairness, kindness/atawhai, turn taking and mahi tahi/working together – building relationships from which we all learn. I love Resource Rescue because the shelves of odds and ends inspire children (and adults!) to make new things by reusing old materials. By using recycled materials, creative experiences affordable and accessible to everyone – plus of course it’s good for the planet. While the times of your kindergarten sessions may vary depending on your specific location, children attend kindergarten for 15 hours a week.

When placement has been confirmed, group allocations (the days and times your child will attend kindergarten) are coordinated by Arrabri Kindergarten Staff in collaboration with EV EYM. Council provides one easy way for local families to register and enrol their child in kindergarten, without having to contact multiple kindergartens. Included in the panel’s consideration are details of previous community engagement, in which we asked families, children and residents to share what they value about kindergarten in Knox. We had a lovely experience at Kindercare Belmont and would highly recommend it.
