She always explain(s) the background, the art history, the why and how, the intricate technique broken down in the level that can be understood by her students. There is no other art teacher from other art schools that I know of in the area that has even a portion of her quality of teaching. Teresa also always makes the time to write learning summary for each lesson. This learning summary is priceless, she explained in details what had been covered in her class, pictures of the kids making the art, and explanation of the lesson/technique covered in the class.
